Guest guest
Hi everyone, I've always enjoyed Lorraine's newspaper colums as she seems very down to earth but has anyone noticed what an aggressive stance she is taking against anyone who says there could be a problem with them ? I'm sure her attitude stems from fear as any parent who vaccinates obviously thinks they are doing their best for their child and to think that there could be any dangers involved - well, it really is a scary thought as we all know. She did a big spread in The Sun after the poor young girl who died after the swine flu jab rallying everyone to go and get vaccinated as it had been 'proved' that the girls death was nothing to do with the vaccine. Then on Sunday she did quite a searing article on Wakefield with lots of inaccurate information in it. She assured everyone that the MMR was perfectly safe because her friend / GP - Dr - told her so ! My point is that many typical UK folk identify with Lorraine and believe what they read. It's very worrying. I would like to make her aware of the facts about vaccines, not just media hype, but don't think I could properly word it. Has anyone ever tried to contact a 'celebrity' about this and hve they ever had the courtesy of a reply ? Butterfly x
