Guest guest
Can anyone help me find studies done on older children doing a home programme VB in particular would be helpful. In mediation in a couple of weeks and they need this in order to consider a VB programme for he is 12 years old. Also it can't be a continuation of a previous programme as this would be complete start up, so far I have come up with nothing even from the VB website. If anyone knows of any it would be extremely helpful. TIA Vicky

Guest guest
Thanks Nina that information is just what Iv'e been looking for. Zoe I joined a couple of ABA/VB lists and people were very helpful but the information would always be younger children or those who had already done a programme, will check out the NAS though, never thought of them. Guest guest
There is some goodish quality research data on Pivotal Response Training, which I understand is a derivative of ABA but I dont know how close PRT is to VB. The article is and Vismara 2008 and you can find it on the NAS web site if you search Autism Data. Other than that, have you asked on the ABA list? They're usually pretty good on there Zoe > > Can anyone help me find studies done on older children doing a home programme VB in particular would be helpful. > In mediation in a couple of weeks and they need this in order to consider a VB programme for he is 12 years old. > Also it can't be a continuation of a previous programme as this would be complete start up, so far I have come up with nothing even from the VB website. Guest guest
You could contact Growing Minds in FLorida. They have successfully worked with adults using VB. you know lots of parents who've been there - us, , think Nicola?, Mel... They're shit hot and as they use VB predominantly if there are studies I would imagine they'll know. You could say that I suggested you contact them.
