Guest guest
Sam I to agree, but to also share one should investigate mercury and diet to rule it out, not that it caused the Childs autism but to assure your child is not also affected by these components. So if you child to have autism from chromosome abnormality then one can assume the autism is from a different source. I to be to feel in part much is through genetics and chromosomes play bigger part than what others to be to know but in true the questions still is why? ??? Why such a rise in autism, what is creating the genetics to run like wild fire if this is the only belief to be known, so I to share feel as you there are many sources, many causes of the SYMPTOMS we label as autism. For in true it is from the symptoms alone we get labeled, they are not in true behaviors but symptoms and so many want to put Band-Aids on the symptoms to cover them up but one needs to not look at the symptoms as bad but good in the sense that these clues can help one look deeper for the source of the symptoms. So research is much important at looking at the cause but many kids tend to be like others kids with similar traits and symptoms where in comparison with others they do not seem similar so this to me tells me different causes such as when looking at CP we know for some can be only affected in legs, some all limbs, some just speech and mild awkward gaits and motor skills but in true it is because the degree and the areas of the brain that are damaged will produce different symptoms so we might label them CP but being more specific in saying a quadprlegic or what ever depending on the affects seen. Autism too has many forms and should be labels in more specific terms under the umbrella of PDDS because we to have some with AS who are LD and struggle in areas of academics, while others are what we term as hyperlexic or genius levels of IQ, some with autism are non verbal but do not show or demonstrate any level of true functioning while other non verbal children can use other devices in perfect grammar and syntax, so why the variations because each type may have its own etiology. There for the various types. Sondra
