Guest guest
Morning AllToday I received an email, supposedly from the Inland Revenue which said I had overpaid some tax.I immediately thought it was something to do with our Direct Payments and the form to fill in looked quite genuine. Its a scam going around and is especially significant for people as its coming up to the 31st Jan when people do their returns.http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/4173545/HMRC-warns-of-phishing-tax-scam.htmlHarry the hubby forwarded me this article which describes it in more detail and just wanted to let you know in case its useful.Lotsa LuvCarolinexx
Guest guest
My refund was only £450 and I dont work but I really thought it was something to do with Direct Payments Caledonia, we have a comapny which handles all the IR stuff for Direct Payments. If Harry hadnt been here I would perhaps have started filling it in, gulp x > > had it but it sound to good to be true ....mine was £750 .... > > >
