Guest guest
took periactin for a while when he was younger. The only concern I had was that is has listed as potential side effects: leukopenia, agranulocytosis(neutropenia), thrombocytopenia...they are rare adverse reactions, but with already haivng leukopenia/agranulocytisis, we were sure to monitor his counts more regualrly. He's never had platelet problems, but we did watch those, as well. ~Pattie~ Mom to age 9 (healthy), age 7 (Shwachman-Diamond Syndrome), and ph age 6 (Shwachman-Diamond Syndrome) for more information on Shwachman-Diamond Syndrome: Shwachman-Diamond America Have a child that needs to gain weight?: Weight Gaining recipes to read the latest article on chronic neutropenia: Molecular basis & therapy of disorders associated with chronic neutropenia
