Guest guest
Hi! We just got back from getting x-rayed! I think her curve looks GREAT! I'm so excited! I was nervous because she's been out of cast and in a brace for 6 months. I just emailed it to Dr. H in Chicago Shriners to see what his opinion is for our next step. Reminder: Her last x-ray was taken back in June 2010 in her last cast (#3) and measured 10* laying down under anesthesia (we don't have a film or digital print of it). Her last STANDING x-ray was taken in cast #1 in January 2010, which measured 23*. Although I obviously can't measure the curve or anything, from my eye it looks to be MUCH better than the 23* film. I'm SO excited! I'll post the new x-ray pic in 's photo album on here. And of course, I'll keep everyone posted on what Dr. H says. Oh, by the way, she grew over an inch in the past 6 months (just found that out at the doc's today). ~ Mom to , age 4.5, 3 casts in Michigan, currently in brace hoping/waiting for cast #4, Cobb 36 precast ~ Cobb 10 in cast #

Guest guest
Excellent news ! Amazing how our trained eyes can see the difference, good or bad without any measurements. A parent always knows. Great news! HRH > > Hi! We just got back from getting x-rayed! I think her curve looks GREAT! I'm so excited!
