Guest guest
Hi Begona, Did the Dr say its toxic for him because he has a leaky gut? Is this a nhs or private dr ?could you use the suppositories or enemas more frequently? BW Nina > > Hi everyone, > > Our Dr. wants us to stop Movicol (Nico has been on Movicol for a couple of years now) as it is very toxic and Nico has a very leaky gut. We have stopped it for 3 weeks now and are now giving him Oxypowder every day (2 capsules) and magnesium citrate (2 capsules), we give him glycerine suppositories every week and we do cranial osteopathy (and the osteopaths work on massaging the tummy also). We have also used prescription enemas before. But still he is very loaded .. As soon as we give him the suppository a lot of poo comes out. > > Our Dr. mentioned going to a colon therapist, has anyone has any experiences with one? and also using a homeopath to treat inflammation of the gut (as for her this is the cause for the gut to be slow and the constipation). > We really want to continue trying without Movicol for a bit more but we cannot leave him loaded and he is very very stimmy right now and in pain sometimes. > > Does anyone have any recommendations/experiences for a colon therapist or homeopath? Guest guest
Hi Nina, thanks for your reply, she says it is toxic because of his leaky gut. I am going to try enemas more frequently, although I think they clear mainly the latest part many thanks again Begona > > > > Hi everyone, > > > > Our Dr. wants us to stop Movicol (Nico has been on Movicol for a couple of years now) as it is very toxic and Nico has a very leaky gut. Guest guest
thats true about enemas clearing the end bit so if you follow it straight after with some oxypowder you should have a better clearout...... Just thought i'd let you know that i was increasing the fibre in my son's diet but actually that seem to make matters worse for him.
