Hello friends,

Do you remember, a month ago I asked you " A seizure incident " which my son had

it.Today we saw a norologist at Royal Free Hospital. He told me that they don't

see very often at this age kids having seizure. But literature says 3 out of 5

kids on ASD may have seizure during puberty!!

He asked me his body temperature and said possibly it happened because "

vasovagal nerves " signalled the brain and caused the blood sugar

dropping..(That's what I understood!).The toilet seat is made of plastic and in

the morning the house was just warming up.He adviced me to cover the seat up! I

never thought of this,I am sharing this with you in order to broaden our

knowledge..

He strongly adviced to me to keep my son on GF/CF diets, gave examples from

Chinese people. They don't consume wheat or milk products,However he didn't

mention the seizure rates in China!

He said my son's hyperventilation is behavioural, because of his autism. He

doesn't want to control this with calming medication because of the side

effects.I mentioned homeopathy and he adviced this one to me as well.He adviced

me to keep my son on good vitamin/mineral/Omega 3 supplements..

He didn't want him to have an EEG at this stage as many kids on the spectrum at

this age results come normal .However if he has another one he will have an EEG.

So, my goal is to keep him healthy, avoid cold and watch him like a hawk! make

strong comments to his school staff to keep him warm.

The norologist ,he was a different type of doctor I think!

By the way, my son managed to put 4 kg since summer, since last month he put

another one kg.This is the first time something is working for him.I believe

that our DAN dr's protocol brought this improvement, both weight gain and gut

healing.I wanted to share this, because it is a long struggle for us him to gain

weight...

All the best

Nevin
