Guest guest Posted September 20, 2010 Report Share Posted September 20, 2010 Hi everyone, Kaity went to see the pediatric neurosurgen at childrens of MI this past Thursday. She see's the chief neurosurgen there for her Chiari. We recently saw him for her check up. Everything checked out to be fine. He checks her head size, reflexes, and vision at her checkups..and of course asks his questions. The MRI back in June showed a very small Chiari, and he says she shouldn't have any symptoms. So this may never affect her, we hope so! She 'll go back every 3 months for checkups though. Just knowing its small and not affecting her is so encouraging. Scoli. Is enough to worry about. When I feel discouraged that she even has a small Chiari, I am reminded to be thankful that she doesn't have tethered cord or missing or damaged vertabre!
