Guest guest
Nora had her 9th cast put on October 13th and it was the best trip we've ever had! She did well throughout the entire process, I guess she's become an old pro at this by now. He got her down to 12 degrees this time but he said that she still wasn't where he wanted her to be for casting to be curing her. He said that he was 80% sure she would need a VEPTR when the cast stops holding her, he just didn't know when this would occur. He did say that he wanted her to have a VEPTR instead of rods, which would have been my choice as well eventhough we would have to travel farther. I'm sorry that I don't get to reply or post as often as I used to, I do read all of the posts I just don't always get to reply, which I miss doing, but along with taking Nora to drs appointments I now have to take my husband as well due to his Transient Ischemic Attack (mini stroke) that occured on Sept.18. He's doing better, just not able to drive yet, it also affected his eye sight a bit. I will try to post pics of Nora in her Halloween costume, she's going as Dr.P. The staff at Greenville Shriners helped with her costume, name badge and all. They also filmed her for a video they are putting together to send out to pediatricians nationwide. They said they would post it to Youtube, when they do I'll let everyone know. Sorry for such a long post, I hope everyone is doing well!
