Guest guest Posted August 14, 2003 Report Share Posted August 14, 2003 Maddie has been taking this and she gained 7 lbs in about 4 months-more weight at one time then she has ever gained in her life. We have trailed her off of it for now-she takes it for Migraines-and her appetite has decreased quite a bit. The nice thing about this med-it is generic and even below our generic copay amount-so if it does not work-you are not out much. it took a couple of months to see the weight gain, but she has kept the weight even after we have gone off the med and take it as needed. The med says it makes you tired-which it did for me when I took it as an antihistamine once, but it did not do that to her. Becky in In, mom to Maddie, IgA def, gerd, asthma, and the list goes on!
