Guest guest
Hello All! I'm very new to this list. Does anyone have Dr. Holmes telephone number? If she is not available, can anyone recommend a doctor? Has anyone any experience with Dr. Neubrander of Edison, NJ? Thanks for your help. Guest guest
(225)767-7433. She's pretty busy, but her office will send her protocol to your doctor (for $25) if he/she asks. Guest guest
Dr. Amy Holmes phone number is 225-767-7433. She is also with another Dr., Dr. Cave.
Guest guest
I called the office today and the front desk lady told me that Dr. Cave is too overwelmed to take Amy's existing patients. Then I asked if they can refer someone. She gave me the number of the ARI. I feel so upset and helpless. I like Amy; I think she's dedicated and is a good doctor. But I don't think it's right to hang/dry our kids this way. Dr. Cave should take Amy's existing patients and stop seeing new patients given she's buried; after all, she is Amy's partner. Apparently, Amy's decision is " no more practice " from now on. > --- In @y..., Morabito <EMorabito@m...> wrote: > > Just to clarify, we are patients of Dr. Holmes and we were > telephoned today, > > by her office, and told that effective " today " she is no longer > seeing > > patients. I am so sorry that you all are going through this. I am sure Dr. Amy did not decide this lightly. If she felt that she must stop immediately it must be a serious situation. I can't imagine how hard this will be for all her patients. > > Good luck to all of you, > Donna :-) > > > > > > >

Dr. Hansen handled chelation for my entire family and we continue to see him for other things now. My sister and several friends have taken their kids to Dr. Block and seemed pretty pleased. The only negatives I've heard about her is that she's expensive (probably about the same price as Dr. Holmes charges) and that sometimes she gets set on her protocol and doesn't individualize well or listen to what the parent is saying (my sister had that problem with her). We used Dr. Ross for a few months and he seemed very knowledgeable but was pretty aggressive with his protocol -- my son did 21 days on DMSA for his first two rounds. However, that was done around the time Dr. Hansen said they were starting to report that the 3on/11 off cycle was safer and better so he may be recommending shorter cycles now. Of the three, Dr. Hansen would be the one I'd recommend first since his fees are reasonable and he has good experience chelating kids plus is open to learning the latest and adjusting his approach. > Dallas area We were seeing him when we first discovered my son's arsenic poisoning. I would not recommend him for anything but digestive issues and even then would suggest that you watch what he does very carefully and really check things out. He made some big mistakes with my son, one of which was very harmful. > Dr. Lawrence Ginsberg in Houston? I don't know much about him but have heard his name mentioned both in a positive and not so positive way. Can't recall the exact details though, sorry. If you're in Texas, and want to consider him, post a query to the Autism Treatment list or check their archives. I know they had a discussion about him fairly recently but don't recall the details. Guest guest
Thanks Gaylen! Do you have personal experiences with these two doctors or you know some of their patients? What about Dr. Constantine Kotsanis in Dallas area or Dr. Lawrence Ginsberg in Houston? Thanks, > So sorry to hear about Dr. Holmes. Guest guest
I have been chelating w/ Andy's protocol. My docotor has just recently signed an agreement w/ Andy for him to do a file review and consult her regarding my son Jack. nne > > > Just to clarify, we are patients of Dr. Holmes and we were > > telephoned today, > > > by her office, and told that effective " today " she is no longer > > seeing > > > patients.
