Those of you with the go-lytely experience, how do your kids act in the days

following it? The first night, friday night, Kody was really cuddly and tired. I

figured from being up all night and just from the whole ordeal. Then Saturday he

was very emotional and had melt down after melt down all day long and he wanted

to just sit on my lap in the evening, eventually going to bed early (about 7pm).

Then today he also had meltdowns, but his activity level is way down from even

yesterday. At least yesterday he played some. Today he wanted to go to sleep in

church, and he kept leaning on me (usually he sits by Grandpa and is pretty much

all over the pew!!), when we got home he curled up on the couch and then after

lunch asked if he could take a nap! Which he did, for about 2 hours, when he got

up he brought what he calls " Mommie's blankie " (a down lap quilt, LOL!) to me

and sat on my lap and just rocked for a long time. Then again he asked to go to

bed early, about 7ish. This time he asked for his blue blankie (a very beloved

ratty old holey blue blanket he's had since birth). We have had blue blankie put

away in a shadow box frame and hanging in his room for about a year, and other

than the first few days we put it up, he hasn't asked for it. Until tonight. He

also appears to have a tic today. He keeps bringing the left corner of his mouth

up, almost like he's trying to wink. When I tell him to stop that, his answer is

" I can't, I have to " . What is going on?? I'm starting to get worried.

Macey's had no problems with the GoLytely. Her electrolytes are checked every

so often and before discharge when she's

been admitted. If he's dehydrated or his sodium is out of whack that could

cause a problem.
