Guest guest Posted November 4, 2010 Report Share Posted November 4, 2010 Hey everyone-- Logan recd his cast #5 yesterday. He is doing...okay. He has to relearn his center of balance with each cast....but he bounced back very quickly. Soooo I have yet another question. Logan is responding just great to the casting. We have NOT had out of cast xrays yet....with that being said....from just looking at him...his spine looks straight but he is still "slightly" rotated. Logan has been casted a total of 6 months...going into our 7th month. I was thinking....with him reponding so great to it...that we may only have to do this a year....which would end in april....but the Dr keeps telling us, "an average of 18 months." So is that standard? I mean...if we see him corrected at 12 months....spine and rotation....is it normal to keep going the additional 6 months? I was just disheartened yesterday.....even though I shouldnt be---he doing great with it. I was just wondering.
