Guest guest
Well done Heidi! I would also encourage everyone to check their local papers websites. Ours has a " NEWS FROM YOU " section. You can submit your own article. It's only published on the website and not in print, but you've got the power of the papers google index...I submited one to our local paper and it was online in two days. Of, course...we don't have near the audience as LA! Guest guest
Heidi! That is sooo COOL! We just learned that somebody is wanting to do a story on Eli. It will be in a Magazine for Mercy Health Plans and the article will go to four different states. I'm not sure if Bex has recieved one of the cast bears from SLC but that will be the highlight of the atricle. We would like to make a few extra bears and bring them to the Ped offices around us with some info about IS. We have had some awesome things fall into place over the last 6 months. Our 1st Ortho doc has hooked up with Dr. D'A and he is able to reviews Eli's progress. Now he is casting too. Good things are happening(even though the whole deal overall stinks)! I am thankful for CAST and little guys like Bex who I found on a random GOGGLE search that lead me to the treatment that we currently useing! Blessing! Good Luck with the paper, specially the 600 word part!!! Either way it's wonderful.I'm so happy to hear Eli's Story is getting out there to help other kids. That's always been our intention with Bex's Story, too. Guest guest
Heidi! I hope Bex gets one this time. Yeah, our family is doing them. It started off with Eli's cast Tiger on our first trip, they loved it, so on our second we casted four dogs for the kids that were getting casted that day. Our third trip we brought 4 Pooh Bears with us and then Carol sent us a box of bears from SLC and we casted about 11 more and sent them back. My father in law came up with a pattern and then my sister in law does a cool little tag for the foot and then another tag we can write on. We all sit around casting bears together before we go to SLC. They have been touch with all the kindness that everybody has shown us and Eli. Eli's tiger gets a new cast every time E does. Well, I hope they have one for you guys when you go next. I hope you guys like it. : ) judy On Sat, Dec 4, 2010 at 4:37 PM, NIck Guthe <nickguthe@...> wrote: Judy,Thank you!
