Guest guest
Well, we are home from Timmy's 3rd cast, and once again I have some questions. We were so lucky to have the doc from SLC to assist in the OR. We met him and talked for a bit. His doc came in and told his his back looked "fantastic". His rotation is getting better and he is doing well. Then once again, we were dissappointed by the xray numbers. I don't even want to get xrays anymore. The other 2 casts, we went in a week after the casting to do the xrays, this time, we got it within an hour of Timmy waking up. They are staying about the same again. His top curve started off at about 65 degrees (1st cast) and is not at 48 degrees. His bottom curve started off at 50 degrees and is now at 40. The xrays they took this time were fuzzy and I didn't think they did a good job. How important are the xrays? I know that for now, we are still casting, so I guess it doesn't really matter. I just want to see something positive! I am just going to go with the fact that the docs tell me he is doing better and better, so I am going to believe them, I guess.
