Guest guest
Hi All! What can I say! Maddie summed it up best on Friday morning- " Mommy, last night was the best night of my life! " We had 2nd row seats, and I swear, he looked right at her several times and waved and winked. I do not think I have ever seen her so happy. Which is another point.... how many of you have taken your children in for therapy to help deal with the issues of pid and the health problems associated with such. Maddie had a really bad end of school year and even her teacher told us that where the other kids seemed to be maturing, Mad was lagging behind. She has also been very angry and I truly think somewhat depressed. So we started last week with a psychologist and she is having us see a psychaitrist next week. Along with some true anxiety issues, she feels that Maddie has some definite issues regarding her sleep. She looked at the 2 sleep studies we have had done and said that Mad gets very little to no rem sleep. We have been dealing with lots of issues that deal with anger and grumpiness-could this be related? She has even gone back to the crying and making herself throw up-despite all of the prilosec she is on-and she has started biting again. This weekend she bit her sister and then turned around and bit herself-and you can still see the marks where she bit herself. We are trying some behavior modification-we will see how that works until we see the psychiatrist next week. She has also been VERY constipated and refusing her meds,(and I mean all meds-asthma meds, gerd meds, constipation meds, headache meds) but we finally broke down and just forced her to drink her tea with the miralax. To top it all off-she got some newts for Christmas and in the last month or so they have both died. Ralk about yucky! The good news-according to Mad-is that she has 2 loose teeth-and one is very loose! She has only lost 2 teeth so far and is very anxious to lose some more! Now both of the top middle teeth are loose! Know that you have all been in our thoughts and prayers! Becky in IN-mom to Maddie,7, IgA def, mild CP, gerd, asthma, migraines, allergies, mitochondrial issues, high cholesterol, hyperglycemic and Food Network Addict!
