She is probably just adjusting to her 1st cast. My son didn't walk until he was

about her age in cast as well. If she is cruisin furniture it won't be long

now!

My daughter is almost 16 months old now and has not taken her first step. She

crawls everywhere. And she has been cruising around furniture for at least 3

months now. But, when it comes to letting go of the furniture and trying to

walk, she won't. Just wondering if she may feel a little off balance because of

her scoliosis? Plus, she is very tall for her age. She is about 33 " tall and

is only 15 1/2 months old. Have any of you had similar walking issues? Just

wondering if any of you have any ideas for encouraging her to walk?
