hi Sue and welcome :)

www.treatingautism.co.uk has a list of practitioners in the UK

Natasa

Hi We have just moved to Fetcham in Surrey, UK from Auckland in New Zealand where we were seeing a DAN registered paediatrician and also a dietitian who worked alongside her. Our nearly 3 year old son is on GFCF diet and various supplements and we are looking for someone here to carry on with this approach since we have found definite improvements in his well being and particularly constipation and gut issues. Can anyone recommend anyone in this area? Many thanks

Dear Sue

You may also be interested in considering TST - a unique programme devised by Scotson in the UK.. a number of ASD kids on this group are benefitting from this non invasive treatment... if you look on this group there is a special section on Advance and there are a number of testimonials from other ASD families. Based at East Grinstead it is reasonably close to you..

Traditionally has prescribed an hour of therapy per day.. however feedback from some ASD families is suggesting that beneficial results have happened with as little as half an hour of therapy per day.. I am happy to be contacted off list if you would like to know more

Welcome to this fab group of super people

Thanks Tracey - have read through that and it certainly sounds interesting -

sleep and constipation have been our main issues up to now - will watch his

breatthing patterns with interest now.

Hi Sue. Welcome.

I am an Aussie living on the mainland in Europe with our 4y8m old mild

ASD, primarily speech issues, son.

If you feel inclined to share, I would be glad to hear your thoughts

regarding the current state of ASD treatments downunder.

The main reason we relocated was to get biomedical treatment.

All the best

Hi,

Interesting to read you moved to Europe for biomed...Im a Kiwi living in France,

and we had to go to NZ to get biomed. I suspect we saw the same practitioners in

Auckland that Sue was seeing. In France we were not getting anything in the way

of help for our son, although now we know our way about the biomed world a

little better we are seeing a DAN Dr in Paris.

Still, we are planning a move back to NZ next year - mainly to access more

flexible and appropriate schooling for our 5yr old ASD son. With access to this

group and ordering online etc I presume we will be able to get everything we

need in NZ, but would be happy to hear Sue's or anybody else's thoughts on the

matter.

Cheers,
