Guest guest Posted August 19, 2010 Report Share Posted August 19, 2010 Hope you are OK I went to the Drs again to be referred to a specialist again about my back pain, I am not at all satisfied with Mr Nordeen of Stanmore, he sent me to two plastic surgeons to have my rib hump reduced but due to my breathing I cannot have that operation. I went to a pain clinic locally and all they could suggest was a morphine patch and I was given a support for my back to stop the hump rubbing! All Mr Nordeen said was that he couldn't help me at all with pain, previously he had suggested an injection, he was not at all approachable and upset me and my partner. My Dr had referred me to another specialist at Great Portland Street, which is part of Stanmore hospital after being signed off by Mr Nordeen previously however Mr Nordeen said I was still his patient and I cannot go to anyone else. I was really cross and had to go back and see Mr Nordeen again. My Dr has referred me to another specialist at GReat Portland Street again, what do I do if Mr Nordeen stops me going to someone else again, he has signed me off, so I don't know what is wrong with seeing someone else unless he's covering up!! I was told by x-ray that I should have been referred for an MRI scan by Mr Nordeen but he wouldn't do it! I look forward to hearing from you.
