Guest guest
A properly applied halo is a superior way to temporarily correct, better align, buy more growth time, and will help with the effectiveness of the rods as its best to place them when the child is as straight as can be. Having the spine as straight as possible should decrease risks in the OR as well. As the spine has already been corrected gently, so the doc doesnt have to manipulate the spine as much. The kiddos really love them too. Mine did anyway. HRH **Livs 3 halos actually bought her at least a decade of precious growth time, prior to any definitive procedures. > I'm actually planning on bringing this up with both the Canadian doctor > and Dr D in SLC.
