Well we went today to get 's new CAMO brace. This is his 3rd brace and I must say I am feeling very uneasy about it. It is much longer and thinner looking this time around, but I know it is from a different company too. This one is a Boston brace...last two were TLSO brace. Not sure if that makes a big difference. Anyway one thing I can't get past is the part under his left arm goes up high enough under his arm his shoulders are now completely off balance. Does that make sense? She explained it and of course it makes total sense to my husband, but to me it looks wrong. She said because they are pushing his curve towards that directions his shoulder is going to ride up a bit. I

suppose. I am SO sick of thinking and worry about this. I was in a good place and now I am feeling uneasy about it. I am ready to just take their advice and not think another thing about it. Bad to say I know.

The in brace xray was great though.......he is down to 1 degree!!! The very lowest we have ever seen since he began casting/bracing in 2006!!!!!

I had never heard 1 degree before! The xray gave me CHILLS!!!!! It looked amazing!!!!!

So that is why I just want to take it and run!

She wants him to sleep in the old brace tonight and slowly transition to the new one tomorrow during the day. He HATES it!!!!! He LOVES the camo, but it feels so different to him. So tomorrow should be fun! She had it so tight today....I know I will never be able to get him to get use to that tightness. All I can do is try.

I posted a couple of pictures of his new brace. It even has camo straps.....super cute!
