I'll be away from my computer for a few days. The hub and I are going on an

extended weekend away. He is so romantic. And no, ladies, he does not have

any brothers. LOL It will take me years to get caught up on all the posts

when I get back. Don't worry, we made sure every place we stay at has a gym.

Working out together has made us even closer. Take care.

What's wonderful about being in action about creating good habits, like

learning to eat healthy, not crash dieting like Atkins, or starving....and

don't forget the regular exercise....is that we are preparing for the long

haul.

In doing this program I know that I won't have to worry about what to do when

I have a few kids and have gained some baby fat. I've learned what to do and

how to live already. I won't have to worry if I'll be able to keep up with

my 2 and 4 year old. I'm preparing for the rest of my life RIGHT NOW!!!!

My goal is to live to be 125. No kidding. I will be walking without

assistance. I will still be getting regular exercise even if it's water

aerobics with the rest of the blue hairs out there!!! I will be eating

healthy, 5-6 times a day ...taking my Geratol like a good girl! I might even

have a tatoo by then, not sure...anything goes in Vegas and this time the

" Ultimate Ones " (Clarissa, Sanieh, Shiloh and ) are gonna do some

female bonding....kind of like guys after combat get USMC tattoos and stuff.

I think we're gonna get our bellybuttons pierced........ANYWAY... that's for

a later photo album!......off on a tangent as usual....it's the ADHD I tell

ya!..... =)

I'm living now for the rest of my life. I don't take my health for

granted...especially having a healthy back and no major allergies. =)

Hey kit,

This is my last week for round 3 and I'am headed for the finish line,

had to increase the weights ( 15lbs for ankles) and ( 10lbs for wrist)

for the tae bo workouts though. I have picked up some more equipment for

my home gym at this rate I will have to get a bigger house just so I can

have my gym.

I had a minor set back this round. I pulled my back and got a bad

sunburn couldn't workout for two weeks. Thats ok though I went into a

maint phase until I could hit it again. I didn't quite hit my goals but

that has only made me more determined to do better during my next 12

weeks.

Take Care and God Bless

This reminds me of the phenomenon in counseling where people will just open

up and vent what's going on and automatically feel the burden lifted. I

didn't have to do a thing but listen with an empathetic ear. It's amazing

what we can do when given the opportunity to shine.

Oh my gosh, this is so you (meaning this group collectively). We are the

trend setters and you all helped me set my own standard when I wasn't happy

with the before/after pictures I saw in the magazines....that was until

Lindsey, but her pics showed up AFTER I was already done with my first

challenge. Skinny is out. And Vicki Gates (Arnold Classic Women's

Heavyweight and Overall bodybuilding champion) just isn't me. Though Walt has

been egging me on that I could be the next Chyna in WWF.....not only " no " but

" HELL NO " . =)

Thanks peeps for being by my side and walking with me down the middle. And in

gratitude for your generosity and selfless support, I shall repay you by

giving what was freely given to me to others.

Thanks Walt.

Thanks Walt,

I needed that!

I am losing my work out partner in 2 weeks, and I did not expect that to

happen. I do not know anyone else at the gym I go to. I know I can do this

on my own, as I do, do many of my work outs alone, but having a partner was a

great motivation, and kept it safe on the free weights. I do not know how

one would go about looking for a work out partner, any tips?

I thought I was the only strange one. I do the same thing when alone. I

also use it when doing cardio out doors.

Ask around at your gym and post a memo on the bulletin board. Run an add in

the paper. Cold call out of the phone book. (just brain-storing now)

Walt,

Do you come up with this off the top of your head? I love it. I printed

your last one and had it with me most of the day. I will do the same with

this one. You have a way of bringing the physical in with the spiritual and

I like it a lot. Thank you who ever you are for taking the time to do this.

Peace,
