And does it contain thimerisol? (You'd better check -- some do!) <<<<<<< Has anyone else tested for similar allergies and what was done to treat it? >>>>>>> Yes, we took our son to see Dr. Layton who specializes in this sort of thing. He is in Towson, MD. We were given special sublingual drops made up for Kenny based on his test results. It did help him, but we ran into problems because the preservative used was a phenol, and he has a PST problem. So it also made him very hyper. I discussed this with Dr. Layton, and we both agreed it was best to stop the drops. <<<<<< My question is can behavior get better when treating the allergies? >>>>>> Yes, it can. But I would look for someone who will tailor the allergy treatment to your child. (Cary, NC) persistentC@...

Aurora, okay no one's thinking of asking how many years since I was 17 right? Seriously, where can I access that list of products with Hg? Guest guest
ACK!! Check the nose spray for thimerosol!! Use a good air filter and/or purifier, vacuum, vacuum and vacuum, damp dust his bedroom often and the house regularly, keep the windows closed when he is reacting to pollens, use allergy-free encasements for pillow and mattress, wash sheets in hot water, wash bedspread often, etc. I would do all this before I'd use any nose-spray or Claritin. The fewer medicinal assaults the better! Guest guest
Consider using a sea salt solution to wash the nasal passages out. Search the web for " Neti " and you will probably find more than you need or contact me off-list & I can send you some info. It is an old yoga practice that I have been using daily for 20+ years with wonderful results. I use it wife my daughter when she has a stuffy nose and it works wonders, If you get the solution to the correct temperature and concentration it is very mild and even pleasant. The results will convince you to make it a daily or more practice - better than brushing your teeth. Best wishes, Ken --- In egroups, " lisa edmond " <sjcsydney@h...> wrote: > ACK!! Guest guest
I just read that Sea Salt is VERY risky to use, because of mercury contamination in oceans, bays and seas.

I have been using natural sea salt for a long time. I just recently bought some made in France. Am I in trouble? Would you share where is your source of information?
