Guest guest
Hi all, I've been struggling so much lately that I haven't been posting very much. There has been some glimpses at light at the end of my tunnel, but some are just in passing. Anyway, sometimes we get things from people when we need it most. My brother is incarcerated. I won't go into the who/what/when/where or why's, but I think just noting that's where he is at is important. He was telling one of his prison-mates, a 60-something man about Grace's struggles over the last 4 yrs. His "friend" was moved to write the following poem for me/Grace. I think it is fitting for most of us by just inserting the name of our child in place of Grace's. Hope this helps someone today... Grace - A beautiful young lady A glow surrounds her daily Her heart so full of love For others and God above With that smile on her face It's no wonder her name is Grace Grace is a gift that God gives to those that believe God lives And here she is, God's loving gift to watch her smile, a spiritual lift Grace must be special in God's eye Maybe as she grows, He will show why The problem she has, not by God's hand To her as she grows, He'll reveal a plan Grow sweetheart, with God in your heart You will always be a glowing star. I hope you all don't mind that I shared this. It just touched me deeply that someone that has never met Grace could capture her so well and touch my heart at the same time. *hugs to everyone and their little ones today!* Jane
