Dented Brace?

So, Doc is running along at the park today and WHAM! He went down.Now, I've got 4 kids so normally it's not a huge deal to me when one of them whacks themselves on the head or bonks a nose or anything like that.This was BAD. There was so much blood and he kept falling asleep mid-scream.Long story short, went to ER and all is well, just lots of bruises, abrasions, and a dislocated nose (that they fixed easily enough).However, changing his clothes when we got home, I noticed he had a small pebble sized dent in his brace in the chest area. That shouldn't affect the effectiveness, should it? It doesn't seem to bug his breathing or the fit as far as I can tell, but should I call the orthotist just to make certain?aMommy to Doc- down to who

Well, the fever finally broke. Im not sure if I even posted on this lastweek....But, Liv developed a fever on Friday and couldnt shake it untilthe next Thursday! Needless to say, after 4 days of this I begansuspecting infection, as Liv never gets sick and if she does, she canusually fight it within 24hrs...Not to mention, she has been experiencingsignificant pain where the metal was left in in her pelvis. Per her docssuggestion, I will take her to be seen by the Chief at the new Rocky MtnChildrens Hospital here in Denver this week, so we can have someone localthat is able to monitor her closely....Something tells me that this metalmust be removed. She cant continue to live with this level ofpain....Especially, since it seems to be increasing with her adol. growthspurt....(?)Ugh....this gets so
