You know, I have been giving the last two months alot of thought, and gone back

to the very beginning of the start of s' infection, which came on fast and

strong as a combined sinus/cellulitis infection from some sort of cut/bite right

between her eyebrows. At the time I had been unhappy and worried that the

treatment of oral abx was inadequate, and this was enforced by the ER doc weeks

ago who I saw when began with the 'fairy lights' and distorted vision. I

had shifted the focus back to the sinuses but perhaps I've got that wrong and

what she is dealing with still is more to do with orbital inflammation.

Whatever it is, she needs more than the oral abx she is (still) on, and her appt

with the ENT isnt until next Thursday, and not able to be seen sooner as he is

out of town. My instinct is beginning to niggle again and I'm thinking I

shouldnt be sitting on this, or allowing the doctors to be sitting on it, any

longer. Yesterday she was very sick, today a little brighter in herself

although her face still looks so awful, but by lunch time she was really ill

again, and told me she is really confused that nothing the drs have done so far

have made her better. Then she went on to say that she feels really sick, then

feels a little better, then feels sick again but each time its worse than

before. Her face is so out of proportion to its normal shape, and she just

looks so ill. I am worried!
