Guest guest
Hi to you all, Firstly, a big thank you to everyone I've emailed offline whos offered their support & knowledge, its nice to know I'm not completely alone in the fight!! I recently found out my 10 month old baby has a very large pathogenic candida overgrowth, and bacterial overgrowth. Hes suffered with colic early on and had reflux too, plus is a terrible sleeper, hypersensitive to noise, smells etc., constantly moving and wriggling, difficult to hold or dress etc. etc. I just wondered what the best course of treatment would be (any suggestions appreciated!!). His livers in a bit of trouble, so I figure he probably needs liver/immune support before killing off the bugs, so he doesnt get toxic overload, (got some Nystatin & tried that for a few days, but the die off seemed a bit much!!). Any ideas on a gentler approach - I'm currently giving him Custom Probiotics Infant Powder (2 scoops am & pm), plus putting garlic in most of his food ( & coconut oil when I remember). Plan to get some Saccromyces Boulardi (apologies for appalling spelling), possibly orgegano oil, and enzymes (was thinking of Liver life but this has alcohol!!). Anyone successfully tackled this problem in a young baby. Any advice gratefully received!! Thankyou again to everybody Best wishes, LizX
