Guest guest
I wish I could get my daughter to eat diet jello! At least it would be something different. I have noticed a similar " improvement " in my daughter when I giver her Pedicare Cold, the cherry flavored kind. Anyone else notice this? Valeri Question to all Mothers from my pediatrician... I remarked to my pediatrician that my daughter appeared brighter and was more verbal when she ate Diet Jell-O. My pediatrician suspected NutraSweet in diet Jell-O was responsible for this effect and wondered how many other autistic children might benefit from it. The active ingredient in NutraSweet is Phenylalanine, which is a precursor for certain neurotransmitters. He wondered if the mothers on-line could try Diet Jell-O on their autistic or PDD children and get back to me and let me know what effect they see. You can email me at bridalsh@... Guest guest
Happier, better eye contact, more agreeable, more focused, more responsive. Overall just more " there " . My daughter is 3 1/2 and is ASD/PDD. Valeri Question to all Mothers from my pediatrician... Guest guest
I start with only giving Jen one container of Diet Jell-O per day. I sent it to school with her and the speech therapist and teacher work with her to talk more. Now I have been giving more NutraSweet (Phenylalanine). Caffeine also seems to be making Jen seem happy. Guest guest
Hi Beverly I have read everyones comments on the diet Jello and tried my daughter Skylar on it this week for the first time. I thought I noticed an increase in her speech but thought it might be just me. Then she read to my husband (as she does every night and he commented on how great her reading was that night. It was definatey enough of a change that we are going to continue giving it to her and see what happens. Thanks everyone for all the info. Tracey Beverly Weakley wrote: > Thank You!
