The plus side is I get to meet two other Chicago families and their fabulous kiddies. Guest guest
The first one is just about the toughest.... I had the same count down in my head before we started too. I had to ask my mother to come to my house while we were getting the first cast done to take Noelle's little tub out of the house. I just couldn't bear to do it or see it when we got back. After the initial couple of weeks, you will fall into a routine and cast life will become so normal for you. It seems so wierd now, but I promise it will be okay. Guest guest
, Best of luck on Tuesday! We have our first cast date this MONDAY at 7:30 am in Boston and I'm pretty sure there hasn't been a day all week I haven't cried at some point and a night where I didn't wake up worrying about it. I keep telling myself at least Noah is still young (4 in November) and we have this option for him...Good luck good luck!LeighMom to Noah, 3.5 years with two 40 degree curves. Our first Mehta cast scheduled in Boston on 09/13/10... Guest guest
Good luck with casting! Try to be positive... Isabella is cranky the first day of the cast and I think it's the anesthesia and being without me. After that, she is her normal self and you would never know she has a cast with way she acts. She's always very happy...unless her brothers are picking on her, LOL!
