Guest guest
----------------------- Liv Update Thurs From: heather@... Date: Thu, September 23, 2010 4:42 pm infantile scoliosis treatment -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi, We went to the ER for more bloodwork last night and were there til' around 1130. We wont have results for a few days. She met w/ an ortho in Denver this a.m. and he felt it was some type of minor infection/virus, and wasnt sure if it was metal related.(?) I wonder why Kaiser made us go to the ER? The brilliant ER doc didnt feel it necessary to order a full spine film, so the ortho had only an ap of lumbar/pelvis. Even though I clarified it was needed as she has been complaining of neck pain and the " clicking " every time she takes a breath for over a month.I didnt realize this until films had been taken, so i'll just have her doc order it when he gets back. The blood cultures should be done by then so we can then figure out if she needs antibiotics and what type and we may just head out to SLC? Not sure at this point. The good news is, Liv seems to feel ok. I feel good too, thank goodness. Thanks for your prayers. They mean the world at times like this and we're very lucky to have you all pulling for my girl. I think we're just gonna lay low today at home, but if you need me for anything I'll be around so dont hesitate to call.
