Guest guest
Hi How wonderful... I am in contact with a number of the group using Scotson, however I have not yet met any of them face to face so this is very exciting!! I will be down with all 4 of my children... Although my daughter is the main Scotson patient, we are using the therapy for all three of my boys too- and it is having very positive results all around. We will only be down for two days in December- so it will be a very brief visit for us too. Welcome to the Scotson Family!! Guest guest
Hi The basis of much of the neuro issues with our children is about levels of oxygen.. So I suppose an overdue baby will have less space in the womb and the mother will have a very compressed diaphragm so is able to breath less easily... The other point is that towards the end of the pregnancy the placenta quality declines which of itself may affect oxygen interchange. These points would apply even without being induced The next point I guess would be whether or not our children become distressed during birth which would also reduce oxygen levels- and whilst protecting their brains our little babies sacrifice their lungs and diaphragms and the effects of this only becomes noticeable as they get a little older and their delays and differences become more noticeable. I have no knowledge of the effects of induction drugs on the babies as I have never been induced so sorry cannot help you there. Scotson does take calls during the day so perhaps this is something she is far better equipped to answer. All I know from my experience with Scotson is that irrespective of how injured or affected our babies brains are, it is possible to begin to grow new neural connections which may create another route for our babies to become fully functional again.- where fully functional exists on a physical, neurological, emotional and digestional way. There is a chance that they will be able to have a significantly better quality of life.... and it is this which is the reason we are so dedicated to following 's therapy. Guest guest
Welcome to the Scotson Family Adam. There are so many of us on the group now that I am sure that statistically we are very likely to meet other Biomed families on our various visits to see linda at Advance...
