Guest guest
In the previous discussion of reflux, I know I mentioned reglan and think someone else did too. Just a word of caution about this particular medicine. It actually crosses the blood-brain barrier & can causes problems in some people, especially young children. It didn't happen for us, but I know of some parents who have had this problem. I also know that reglan is prescribed to increase breastmilk supply -- I took it & it worked great! -- however, it can only be used for a short period of time because it has some depressant side effects. I'm not sure if these side effects have been studied thoroughly in children. So, use cautiously and discuss it's use with your doctor.
