Thanks, a, for your input. Sounds like you made some reasonable adjustments to the eating plan. Thanks for the reminder to watch the carbs. I'll have to try the Alpine Lace Parmesan cheese---can't beat 0 carbs, 0 cal, and 0 fat if it tastes good!

Re: Eating plan

Hi ,

Regarding the eating, I believe Bill was trying to keep it simple for people...if you stay with the concepts, I think you'll be okay...

For instance, I sometimes use a little marinara like Healthy Choice on my pasta, just watch the extra carbs. Some of the bottled spaghetti sauces are filled with corn syrup or sugar, which adds empty carbs. Read the labels, and adjust accordingly. Also another idea for pasta which adds flavor but no cals is to pour a little non-fat chicken broth over it after you cook it..let it soak up the chicken broth, then I add a non-fat Parmesan cheese called "Alpine Lace", no kidding, 0 calories and 0 fat and 0 carbs but it tastes great. I also love to mix in some garlic because I am a garli-holic!!!!! Sometimes I roast some veges in the oven while the pasta cooks, and then I mix that into it with the other....YUM.I also use a lot of herbs which really jazz up stuff.

Weight watchers has some good ideas too, just watch the carb and protein balance, sometimes I have seen their stuff a little light on protein, but then, they aren't bodybuilders necessarily are they, but YOU ARE!!!

I definitely use a little variety, personally.

a<----just trying to be helpful!
