Guest guest
My sister had to go through the same struggle, until he saw all the heads turning her way and that is when he though, oh shit, time for me to change or I will be the laughing stock and lose her. LOL that's what he said. Now they are both BFL'ers and I firmly believe that if you believe in yourself and stick with your program and stay focused others will follow. I have 4 friends here in my building that are now doing the program. And even 2 of my old drinking buddies that are now doing it. Guest guest
FYI, Something pretty cool that happened to me. I work in the Corporate Headquarters for the company that owns Red Lobster, The Olive Garden, Bahama Breeze, and Smokey Bones Bar-B-Q. Talk about having a tough time while in my first challenge last year. All of our lunch meetings are held in one of our fattening restaurants, or we are constantly receiving free gift certificates for meals in our restaurants. Well, when I decided to drop the bread sticks covered in alfredo sauce last summer I had alot of skeptics here in my offices as to whether or not this EAS thing was legit. (Just as we all have!) Well, to make a long story short. Our Communcations department caught wind of my transformation a few weeks ago. Today I found on our intranet a Congradulatory web page with pics and everything that they put up for all to see. So far I have received 5 phone calls on how I can help others transform their lives and have even been invited to a fat loss group that was started a couple of months ago. They've asked me to give a presentation. My favor is to ask any of you if I may share information on our group and possible share some of your wonderful transformations. Thank you, Sincerely,

Guest guest
, I have a non-BFL husband too and I just cook , for the most part, normally. I have been cooking healthier for years so he's already used to that. I just eat my portions and I'm good to go. He still gets gravy though from time to time but only on my free days. Gotta admit though the pasta and breads got less and less over time and he never even noticed... He eats his ice cream at nite while I've had my fat free yogurt in the freezer for a few hours. I eat that and it's great. I don't miss the time shared. There's ways around it and he'll appreciate your willingness to let him be and your desire for a better you. Best of luck Jen

Guest guest
, My husband is a big man, 6-05, 250# so he has always eaten more than I. He pretty much ate what I had if we ate together but he would add things to his meal to satisfy him. Our schedules do not always allow us to eat together so that was not a problem on those nights. He works a lot of overtime from April through December so I eat alone alot then. After you get used to eating clean, other foods just somehow don't seem as appealing anymore. Plus I do the shopping and cooking so he gets what I make. I always had chicken or fish with brown rice and veggies. He never complained. He just had larger portions. If you don't have bad foods in the house, they learn to eat better. ~Laury

Guest guest
Sarge, Pardon my ignorance since I am a newbie, but the garlic butter sauce and white wine sauces----that would be stuff for your free day of eating, right? (trying to understand the eating plan) Re: Eating plan > Hey , > Come on over and I show you how some men cook! lol My specialties are 2 > dishes, Stuffed Chicken breast cooked in a white wine sauce. Guest guest
, Congratulations! Sounds like you're going to be a great group leader and quite an inspiration. I have a question for you, not related to the BFL program...a while back I heard that your company was not practicing " kosher " hiring/firing policies re gays and lesbians. There was a big boycott, and I'm wondering what ever happened to that waiter who got fired (for being a bit on the " flaming " side, as I recall). I haven't eaten at any of those establishments since (although the only one I'd ever go to was Olive Garden). Thanks.
