Guest guest
So, after 1.5 years of researching and touring preschools, filling out applications and paying fees, writing letters and emails explaining Bex's cast can't get wet or get sand down it, etc...we just heard this morning that he got into the ONLY preschool we found in L.A. that has NO sandbox! Some of you may remember that he got into one school and we even paid a big down payment, ugh, but the huge sandbox is the center of the play area. We had hoped he'd be in a brace by now, but since he's not, this is a huge gift! This school is only five minutes from our house and is the least expensive one, it was up in the air as to whether it would even be open because of city budget cuts. Bex also had to win a "lottery" to get in. Nick marched down there last week and begged, then sent another photo and email- so the squeaky wheel gets the grease and miracles do happen! YAY! Guest guest
I almost forgot to be the squeaky wheel...luckily my husband remembered. It is tried and true, "politely pushy", as we like to call it : ) Face time does not hurt, either, when they are dealing with a sea of faceless names and applications. I am making a mental note again about this. Thank you!
