This workshop is an introduction to the principles of Applied Behavioral

Analysis for the treatment of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder.  It

is an

excellent introduction or refresher course for parents, therapists, teachers,

case workers, friends and family, no matter where you are in your program.

Kelle Wood will be presenting on the criteria used to select a form of

communication for nonverbal children, and how to teach that form of

communication. 

Kelle will also be discussing the myths and facts relevant to teaching signs

and how signing can facilitate the acquisition of speech.
