I experienced somewhat similar effects last year drinking about the same amount

of KT. I realized I was drinking too much for my system (appropriate amount of

KT will differ with individuals), but the main thing is that I wasn't drinking

water. I do now and no longer experience any nondesirable effects. Dennis

am (PST) This is a little embarrassing, but I'm going to ask before giving up

on

Kombucha. I've been making KT about 3 months now and had been

regularly drinking up to 32 oz a day with no problems. Over the last

week or so, anytime I drink it, I get extremely acidic diarrhea and

painful abdominal cramps, bad enough that I almost went to the ER the

other day. I thought maybe the batch was bad so I threw it away. I'm

now drinking another batch made with a different SCOBY, same

result...even a small amount diluted. I'm doing what I've always done,

6 green teabag and 6 black to a gallon and organic white sugar. I like

it very tart. I LOVE my KT and I sure don't want to give it up! Any

suggestions? Can the tea itself be bad? Thanks in advance.
