Guest guest
Hi. I made KT years ago and stopped and am back at it again. Can anyone reveal what uses they have had for their 'excess' KT? I make a gallon batch continually, and as a single person, don't drink that much yet. I have heard things like use it for a hair rinse, but wondered what people have had success with. If the hair rinse, I assume you use the KT as it is prepared for drinking (with sugar). Has anyone every made KT with another sweetener, brown rice syrup or Agave nectar for example...or do you need the good ole white sugar to have proper brewing? When I read that it is good for things like carpal tunnel syndrome or arthritis etc...does this mean consummed orally or does one rub on affected areas (I realize it couldn't hurt, just not sure if that is how the improvement comes, or is it all from injesting orally?) Is anyone certain it has helped with blood pressure? From their own experience? Thanks Mainiac woman " Dream big. Small dreams ain't got no suction. Guest guest
Hello there Mainiac.... KT in its more acidic form is used for the hair rinse.... I use acidic KT just about anywhere I would apple cider vinegar...makes a very nice vinaigrette. A splash added to broth based soups ups the flavor factor. I know folks do brew with other sucrose sources...but the SCOBY seems to prefer plain sugar. I use organic evaporated cane juice. Hope this answers some of your questions. Gayle , Uses other than drinking > > Hi.
