Guest guest
Welcome to Hanna, who not only looks like her pretty mom, but has her drive and her heart! We often worry that our "special" kids' siblings will feel that their time has been stolen by the many hours parents have to dedicate to the needs of the child with autism...I am seeing something very different. The "sibling generation" that I am meeting is kind and selfless, understanding and ready to give a helping hand. It thrills me to see my own granddaughter as she swims with her brother's schoolmates, embrace these challenged children and love them fiercely! She always enjoyed sharing circle time at Wynn's school and was a favorite with the kids because they could sense her concern and love. The thrill brothers and sisters feel at the accomplishments they see daily living with a child with autism is awesome. I have seen that pride in Hanna's eyes on occasions with Will. And not only does the family love and cherish that brave child, but they are not going to let this continue to happen. We have an army that is growing every day and I am encouraged to see the new "recruits" ready to pick up the armor and fight along side of us. I am sure Hanna will be a great ABA/DTT therapist, already having had first hand experience with Will! Welcome to the list Hanna and thanks for your dedication!
