Guest guest
Dear Hannah, Please be careful. KT may not be right for you. If you start having any kind of problems please consider using kefir instead. Many folks on this site use kefir more than KT. I'd suggest doing an Internet search on kefir and listen to your body. You may tolerate KT just fine. We are all different. And for God's sake keep going to your physician and listening to the medical professionals in your life. But don't forget that you are ultimately responsible for your good health. The basics of good health include getting lots of pure clean water, getting a good mineral and vitamin supplement, eating fresh or frozen vegetables/fruits/meats and having hope. Hang in there ) ann --- Hannah Bahler <h.bahler@...> wrote: > Hi! Just started making kt and have a question. I've > read that kt is > supposed to really detoxify the body. Guest guest
Hi Hannah, Not sure if anyone can answer your question, hopefully someone who has had a similar experience will respond but even then, everyone is different. If you do decide to try Kombucha tea I would be very cautious, starting with just a teaspoon and watching the effects over time. Kombucha detoxifies through the kidneys and that may not be a good thing for you right now. I recommend you discuss it with your doctor before you begin. Exactly how much it would change the antirejection meds is another unknown and would need to be watched very carefully. Sorry, I wish I could answer with more certainty but I just don't have those answers. Best wishes for your health and wellbeing.
