Guest guest
Dear Ones, But I have trouble putting my kefir through the colunder. I try to pour them in gently without pressing them, just scoop the grains out and put them right back into the firmenting jar and add milk. When I try to squeese the thickness off them, I find kefir grains in my drink. I feel that I have a tiger by the tail and may get an overproduction of kefir. And i don't want brown grains. I am using more milk, and I drink a lot of kefir, but my son drinks only one glass a day. I try to harvest before they begin to clobber. I am enjoying my kefir more all the time, and I can still walk straight ahead. But we have started drinking 4 oz. each of our sour Kombucha Tea. When I opened one gallon of it, with plastic under the lid, it opened with a Whoosh. Sometimes, it actually pops. I can't wait to start brewing KT again. Blessings on you all. LOve. MArge. Guest guest
Marge, kefir grains in your drink is actually a good thing. The grains have even more of the good stuff than the actual kefir. I eat the grains at the first sign of a cold and the cold never develops. zoe > Dear Ones, > But I have trouble putting my kefir through the colunder.
