[ ] Re: Blood work

The thing is that I don't have another appointment to see this

doctor. If my results get lost in the shuffle it will mean I'll be

in this same condition longer. I've lived with this for years and

haven't been able to seek treatment because I have no insurance or a

scipt coverage program. When she finally gives me scripts for pain

and to slow the progression of this monster it's going to take me a

while to find a way to pay for it all which will take time as well.

Every other day I swear I'm losing the ability to do something else.

I don't have time to wait too long for something to happen. I really

need to know what's going on and what I need to do next..

Not sure if you need to worry about this or not. Here is a link on low

Globulin.

http://www.drkaslow.com/html/proteins_-_albumin__globulins_.html

Your high Albumin/Globulin Rato might be from the way they took your blood.

A cut and paste from this link.

http://www.labtestsonline.org/understanding/analytes/tp/test.html

=========================================================================

Is there anything else I should know?

Prolonged application of a tourniquet during blood collection can result in a

blood sample that has a higher protein concentration than the rest of the

circulation. This will mean that the test result for total protein will be

falsely elevated (higher than the actual concentration in the circulation).

Drugs that may decrease protein levels include estrogens and oral

contraceptives.

=========================================================================

Because labs can be off do to things like the above my Dr. never makes any

changes on one lab. We all ways Waite until the next lab test. I do labs on

TRT every 8 weeks.

Your LH and FSH might not go down if your not on to much gel this is good if you

want kids. But your levels are way to low telling me the gels are not getting

through your skin. This happens I am one of them suffered on gels for yrs.

Then finely went to shots starting at 100mgs every week doing Depo T to me this

is the best thing I ever did. I have a thyroid problem and most people with

this have a thicker skin and gels don't work well. Even some men here had to

come off them after a time because there levels started going down. Shots cost

much less money if you don't have a drug plain that pays for them.

Most do there own shots I do and I eat up the T as fast as I take it so I do my

shots every 3 days and the HCG the 2 days each in between my T shots. If you go

to shots do them your self go to Dr. 's site and read TRT: A Recipe for

Success and read also his HCG update. For men on shots he has them do there HCG

250 IU's the 2 days each before there next shot this keeps them leveled.

www.allthingsmale.com

It is best to get your Total and Free T levels up into the upper 1/3 of your

labs range for a young man. This go by how you feel also keep your Estradiol

down around 20 pg/ml if your on the high side this takes away any good the TRT

was doing and will kill your libido and sex life. Read this link.

http://www.griffinmedical.com/male_hormone_modulation_therapy.html

I do know this when your T levels are low like this your body goes nuts trying

to balance things out so labs can look off on many things. Once you get leveled

off then your body starts to undo the damage done by low testosterone. And

little by little you start to feel better.

I don't feel your going up to a higher dose on the gel will help you need to

switch to shots.

Hi,

I can't really speak to the globulin issue, but I did notice that

your SHBG is pretty high, and that the results didn't include

estradiol. Hi estradiol will raise SHBG, and I it may impact

globulin as well.

Do you have results for estradiol?
