The purpose of this list is to provide support and information to parents. This is not a list to verbally degrade anyone's thoughts, beliefs or practices. We have the right to respectfully disagree with each other. The focus of this list is parents and relaying info to, between and for them. If you disagree with someone on this list, you can nicely state your disagreement but attacks by anyone will not be tolerated. You should also not attack the works of others. I personally know of methods that have helped children while doing absolutely nothing for another child. There is no one method to help ALL children with autism. People do make a business out of trying to help others - that is their business. If you have a problem with that, then don't go to them. I LOVE Future Horizons but it is a business none the less.

For those of you frustrated with the recent conversations, I am sorry. This is a great list and a great resource. We all can be emotional when it comes to dealing with our children and those that we love. The moderators will be monitoring this more closely and will take action deemed appropriate.
