Guest guest
Congratulations ! Refrigeration is optional at my house. Just make sure your cloth cover doesn't get wet. You have just embarked on an exciting healthy adventure that keeps growing and changing just as you do. zoe > Hi all, > I have just successfully made my first brew!!! Guest guest
Congratulations , Your enthusiasm is contagious! If you bottle in glass and seal the tops you will either need to refrigerate your finished brews or open the tops every day or so to let excess carbonation escape. It is very possible that sealed bottles of Kombucha tea left at room temperature will explode sending glass shards everywhere. Not a good thing. Don't take that chance! Guest guest
I have used Grolsch bottles. They work super, and look good too. (I say this and it has only been one day ahahehe) I tried it at room temp this morning and I think I like it better cold. So with your advice I will be storing it in the fridge. I am so excited to providing my body with such a healthy, yummy drink I shared a bottle with a friend. She is into the whole health thing but a bit squeamish after seeing my scoby. It was fun to see her giggle at " Squidward " . This is such an adventure. To our health, Re: first brew ready Congratulations , Your enthusiasm is contagious!
