Guest guest
Hi and EveryOne, Theoretically there should be no emissions from the microwave but just in case, I would try to keep a spare Kombucha start somewhere away from it. If you find the Microwave is effecting your KT, that may be a signal that you should get it away from you too:-)) Peace, Love and Harmony, Bev MANNA INTERNATIONAL Kombucha Manna Drops Manna Green and White Tea Extract FREE: KMI Newsletters Kombucha Center and FAQ Original Kombucha Mailing List http://users.bestweb.net/~om/MI -- In kombucha tea , " earlsinmytoyotatrunk " <earlsinmytoyotatrunk@...> wrote: > > I used to keep my keg in the spare bedroom, but we had to move it to > make the spare bedroom into a nursery! Guest guest
You are right saying " technically " . I am a technical instructor for semiconductor tools and (without going to the great length describing them, lol) some of them use magnetron tubes (microwave generators). Well, when assembling the tools you have to test the " leakage " to make sure there is none. For that you use a special device. So one day when I was conducting the class and students just finished disassembly and assembly of the magnetron, they used the device to test the leakage. Device showed zero and students questioned the ability of the device (and working order for that). I took them to the cafeteria to a regular commercial microwave and the device overscaled... So, there IS leakage, even though theoretically there should be none. Whenever I use microwave, I stand far from it. Though the waves should not propagate more than a few inches (at 2450 MHz, about 4 3/4 inches in fact), not THAT far ANyway, I would keep Kombucha away > > > > I used to keep my keg in the spare bedroom, but we had to move it to > > make the spare bedroom into a nursery! Guest guest
Personally I would dump the microwave. --------------------------------- Abra sua conta no , o único sem limite de espaço para armazenamento!
