There is also a catholic church in clearlake that suposably has a wonderful

person as well. I don't remember the name of that church I used to live on

Space center Blvd and my husband and I attended a parenting class there.

Also, have any of you ever experience a caseworker coming in your house and

saying that your children are neglected because the children and adult rooms

were too far lol I have had that happen twiced that is a bunch of crock lol how

can you help where the builders put the rooms you know lol and at that time I

had a baby moniter with a camera as well as a cordless baby moniter so my

children were always supervized. The mobile home we owned yes the kids rooms

were

on one end and our room was on the other end were we supposed to take them to

bed with us lol I don't think so. The apartment on space center well it was

tiny and the rooms were on top of each other the walls were so thin that we

could hear neighbors going potty lol, so that one was not a problem our kids

noises were a problem even in the mobile home you could hear the kids screaming

and Angel's head banging from out side. Thank God all that is over :)

Connie,

I'm so sorry. I've been going through problems with my church for almost a year

& my son is only 3 years old.

I don't know what to do to help you at this time. Have you checked into the JONI

program yet? I've been to the website, but haven't had time to really see what

it is about. It's a church type program for families with special needs

children.

Prayers & <<<hugs>>>,

Lori

The church that is talking about in Tomball not only has a

wonderful program, but the director has helped other churches start a

program also. Her name is Briley and I am sure she would be happy

to give you a list of any other churches that she knows of out there.

She can be reached at thejoylady@....

Thanks Vicki.

I'll either email her myself or pass the info on to our children's pastor. I

really appreciate it.

Our children's pastor is trying really hard to set something up for families

with special needs children. It's the parents of other children (perfect kids

who never do anything wrong)that have been... Well it's just hard to put into

words. :)

Connie if you read this, & Cedar Hill isn't too far for you,

I've hard that 1st Baptist has just set up a program specifically designed for

ASD kids. One of the members approached a friend of mine & gave her a brochure.

I don't know anything else.

Hope you are feeling better.
