For instance, Sherri, when is the next support group meeting? Amy, do you need more to sign up for the sports program? Etc., Etc. Also....I would like to have a meeting after the first of the year to discuss how we can work together to get a DAN! doctor in the Rome area or to have a current doctor go for DAN! training. SOAR has worked on this project --- we have begged and pleaded! However, we have come to a point when we need numbers on our side as well as therapists and educators to speak up and let our doctors and the community know how important it is for the success of these children to address their unique physical illnesses that might be fanning the autistic symptoms. If you are interested in being on this "task force" please respond to this e-mail and I will compile a list of interested parties. I hope we have lots of educators and therapists to join hands with the parents on this project. The first meeting will definitely be after January 10, but I will wait until after Christmas to set a firm date. See you all tomorrow!!
