Oh Jim, now you know why when some are trying for plastic approval they use

nair to show how irritated their skin becomes...LOL. I for got it in a very

sensitive area once and could barely wear panties for a week.

Ok, I occasionally surprise myself by my own stupidity. So, I thought

I'd share the latest bit of DAZE of Jim's Life.

I'm as thoroughly English as it's possible to be and be a several

generation American. But my mom had this little bit of Native American

blood in her, and it came out in me in that I have very little body

hair. I'm in water aerobics twice a day, and one of the lifeguards haves

all his body hair. So, Jim, the nearly hairless, decided that if I got

rid of my small amount of body hair, I'd look just like that well

packaged lifeguard.

So, On the way home today, I bought some new sunscreen and tanning

lotion. I also bought some nair. When I got home, I tested a little

patch on my leg, and no problem! So, Over my body the stuff when (NO I

didn't try to remove THAT hair, thank GOD). All I can say is the DS

surgery pain was NOTHING compared to what I feel now. Even my nipples

feel as if they've been worked over for hours with sandpaper. I have

huge red spots on my butt and several other places that I can just crane

my head to see.

How the hell do you girls put up with hair removal? This stuff hurts

like HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What can I rub on myself to make me feel

better (say salt and you die!). Will chocolate rubbed over my body help?

I feel like such an IDIOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(I bet this keeps on the list!!!! :) )

distracted from your pain and maybe find a good reason to use Nair

careful with that stuff..oh wait..TOO Late! Sorry tho, I have no good

answers for you.

Katharine

When I was having serious pain in my hip, my PCP suggested Capsaicin

cream. I rubbed it all around my hip - including the area on the

" inside. " That soon passed to adjacent tissue to the, uh, uhm, er,

well, central portion of my anatomy between my legs . . . I only used

it once! It did take my mind off of the hip pain.

MARTA - I believe that it was some kind of liquid from an air freshener

that had her experience with . . .

Best -

Oh Jim! You poor guy! I assume by now that someone has given you

some good advice on how to cool the burn. I only use Nair when I

absolutely have to and the trick for me is to remove it a little bit

earlier than they recommend. Usually avoids any red areas or

burning. I hope you're feeling better by now!
