Per our monthly meeting, I wanted to follow up on the issue of looking for

an interested person with a disability, who would serve on the Disability

Discrimination Agency ( formally the Texas Commission on Human Rights,

responsible for investigating charges of employment and housing

discrimination ) This new agency will be an independent agency under the

umbrella of the Texas Workforce Commission. However, unlike many agencies,

this one will still have a Commission whose members are appointed by the

Governor. If interested you will need the following: Letter of

Consideration Letter of support from State Senator Your Resume

If I can be of assistance, please let me know. It would really be

beneficial to have a person with a disability on this Commission. Thanks for

your consideration and/or your passing along to interested persons.
